Neurodivergent Prom: An Inclusive High School Dance

Neurodivergent Prom - Thank You for Believing in the Vision 💙

Supportive Engagement launched Neurodivergent Prom with a simple goal: to create a sensory-considerate, inclusive, and affirming celebration where neurodivergent teens and teens with disabilities could experience connection, belonging, and an important milestone alongside their peers.

While we were incredibly excited to host our first Neurodivergent Prom in May 2026, attendance did not reach the level needed to support the private venue experience we had envisioned. After careful consideration, we made the difficult decision not to move forward with the event this year.

Although we are disappointed, the vision remains very much alive.

We are deeply grateful to every family, sponsor, donor, volunteer, community partner, and supporter who believed in this initiative and helped spread the word. Your encouragement and generosity reaffirmed the importance of creating inclusive social opportunities for neurodivergent youth.

Looking Ahead to Prom 2027

This experience has provided valuable insight into how we can better serve our community. Our goal is to begin planning earlier, strengthen partnerships, expand outreach efforts, and build an even stronger foundation for Neurodivergent Prom 2027.

We remain committed to creating meaningful experiences where teens can feel welcomed, accepted, celebrated, and truly themselves.
